Croatia won against Ukraine after overtime
Very interesting game played Ukraine and Croatia in Game 3 of Qualifications for EuroBasket 2013 in Slovenia.
After 40 minutes we still didn’t have winner, so additional 5 minutes was necessary to find out who will win in this interesting game.
Finally, Croatia won with final score of 80-79, and I must say that even if Ukraine won, it wouldn’t be undeserved since they played very well in whole game.
Bojan Bogdanovic as expected, led Croatia with 20 points and 5 assists, Krunoslav Simon added 15 points and 7 rebounds, since Damir Markota scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
For Ukraine, Viacheslav Kravtsov scored 14 points, three players scored 11 points each, Stiven Bertt, Artur Drozdov and Oleksiy Pecherov.
Just after game, Croatian National team Coach Jasmin Repesa said: “”Ukraine is a very strong contender. I am not satisfied with the way my team played. But this victory is very important for us.”
Mike Fratello, Coach of Ukrainian National team said: “”I am proud of today’s game, because we fought till the end of the match. Congratulations to the Croats for their victory. I have to prepare the team for the next game against the team from Cyprus.”
