Cedevita Zagreb bolstered backcourt with Marko Tomas
As it is officially announced on Cedevita’s website, Marko Tomas who came from Fenerbahce Ulker signed contract with Croatian team.
Cedevita Zagreb getting more and more serious as they building great team for its first appearance in Turkish Airlines Euroleague in club’s history.
It seems that all good things started with new coach, Bozidar Maljkovic who signed contract with Cedevita Zagreb one month ago.
After that, Cedevita signed Luksa Andric who came from Galatasaray and significantly bolstered frontcourt for coming season.
Matej Mamic sports director of Cedevita said: “We will not stop with those signings, you can expect more surprises in coming days.”
He continues: “We said that we will get ready for this season and we are very serious. Marko Tomas is great player, and we wanted to see him in our club.”
One of reasons that Marko Tomas accepted invitations from Cedevita and signed new contract is Coach Bozidar Maljkovic who coached Tomas in Real Madrid in season 2005/06.
Marko Tomas said: “Maljkovic brought me in Real Madrid, and coached me in season when I probably played the best Basketball. For sure, he is one of the reasons for my arrival.”
According to some rumors, Serbian player Predrag Suput is also pretty close to sign contract with Cedevita. Some sources announced that contract is already signed, but we will wait fot official confirmation.
One things that really makes me happy is that we will very strong competition in ABA Adriatic league in coming season.
