Bo McCalebb signed 3-year deal with Fenerbahce Ulker
Definitely one the most interesting signings in this season of Turkish Airlines Euroleague just happened as Bo McCalebb signed three-year deal with Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce Ulker.
After two seasons spent in Italy where he played for Montepaschi Siena, Bo McCalebb decided to leave Italian Champion and move to Turkey for new challenges.
He was the Turkish Airlines Euroleague’s top scorer last season with 16.9 points per game to become the first playmaker to win the Alphonso Ford Trophy.
In his career, Bo McCalebb played for University of New Orleans, and after NCAA career made his professional debut in Turkey with Mersin in 2008-09 season.
In next season, he played for Serbian Champion, Partizan mt:s and led his team to one of the most successful seasons in history.
McCalebb is also a member of the National team of F.Y.R. of Macedonia and was one of the most valuable players as he helped them to reach the semifinals at EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania.
I may say that Bo McCalebb is one of my favorite players, especially from time when he played for Partizan mt:s. Great player, real leader on the court, and it is good that we have opportunity to watch him in Europe.
