Serbian coach, Vlada Jovanovic will start search for new job as BC Donetsk terminated his contract with club as it was officially confirmed by club.

Honestly, I expected this even last week, since BC Donetsk didn’t start this season well in VTB United league where they have score 1-2 and in Ukrainian league with score 4-3.

It seems that loss in game against BC Khimki in Game 3 of VTB United league decided Vlada Jovanovic’s destiny. In this game, BC Donetsk scored only 4 points in second quarter.

I am sure that people from BC Donetsk expected much more from this team, so this decision is pretty expected, or at least expected for me.

Even he had pretty good results in last two seasons with Partizan mt:s, it seems that this was too big challenge for Vlada Jovanovic who couldn’t manage this situation in BC Dontesk.

Team with great ambitions, invested a lot of money as they signed D’or Fischer, Darius Songaila and Doron Perkins.

Must be really honest and say, even a fan of Partizan mt:s, didn’t like philosophy of Vlada Jovanovic in last two seasons when he coached Serbian champions.

No doubt, he is good coach, but maybe as Assistant could produce much better results. It was obvious in last two seasons lack of self-confidence in some moments, and also lack of respect from players.

However, wish him all the best in his career. My advice for him is to come back in Belgrade and take one of Assistant positions in Partizan mt:s.
