Another one unexpected defeat for Serbian National team
What to say? Estonia topped Serbia 88-81 in Game 9 of Qualifications for EuroBasket 2013 in Slovenia. Maybe I should says, Estonians gave some free Basketball lessons to Serbian “stars”.
First of all, congratulations to Coach of Estonia Tiit Sokk, who beat Coach Dusan Ivkovic in all tactical segments in this game.
I am sure that there will be a lot of arguing about Coach Dusan Ivkovic but Serbian players as well after another one defeat.
I just can’t believe how bad Serbia play in this Qualifications. What is problem? There are several problems definitely.
Who ever says that atmosphere is good in National team of Serbia, he is wrong. It is obvious that some things are not good and it seems that communication is big problem.
In several games, it was also obvious that Serbian players play without energy like they don’t really care about final score.
I don’t want to believe in this, but it is quite obvious. Another one thing could be that players don’t respect Coach Dusan Ivkovic much, and in some moments on time-outs, it was also obvious.
After this game, Estonia improved to score of 5 wins and 4 losses, since Serbia dropped to identical score.
For Serbia, team captain Nenad Krstic scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, Milos Teodosic and Milenko Tepic scored 16 points each.
For Estonia, Kristjan Kangur scored 19 points, Gregor Arbet scored 17 points and Siim-Sander Vene added 15 points and 10 rebounds.
