Ales Pipan to remain as Poland NT coach

There is nothing better than when you as a coach get an extension of contract. This is the best confession that you did a great job.

This just happened to Slovenian coach Ales Pipan, as he got an contract extension as a coach of Poland National team.

Currently also coach of BC Zadar in Croatian championship, doing great job as BC Zadar is at the top in Croatian League with great score of 11 wins and only 3 losses.

Pipan led Polish NT at last European Championship 2011 in Lithuania, but without their best player Marcin Gortat, they finished competition in first round.

Pipan and Poland National team will meet Switzerland, Albania, Finland and Belgium in EuroBasket 2013 Qualification Round and I believe that they have a good chance to qualify to EuroBasket 2013.

Ales Pipan in his rich Basketball coaching career coached Slovenian national team from 2005-2009, in Poland he coached Anwil and in SLovenia, Geoplin, Pivovarna Lasko and Krka Novo Mesto.

It seems that Slovenian Basketball coaches are very popular these days as we already wrote about that Memi Becirovic took Head coaching position of Iran National team.
