According to many Serbian and US media, Acie Law didn’t come back in Belgrade after Christmas and New Year holidays.

He just simply didn’t appear at practice at Monday, and for people from Partzan mt:s it was enough to stop his contract.

Just to remind you that Acie Law signed one year contract with Partizan mt:s without NBA opt-out. According to some rumors, he is negotiating with New York Knicks for possible short-time contract.

When I heard this, my first reaction was: “Finally”, definitely, the worst American player (guard) who played in Partizan mt:s in last 10 years.

Most of Partizan mt:s fans blamed him for not qualifying in Turkish Airlines Euroleague top 16 phase, and I am sure that they will never forget those missed free throws in key moments of game in Belgrade vs. Armani.

No one was satisfied, Partizan mt:s board and coach Jovanovic said that everybody expected much more from Acie Law. Partizan mt:s fans were not satisfied, and Acie Law wasn’t satisfied.

This is the best option for Partizan mt:s to break this contract without any consequences, and they will use this chance.

There are already many rumors who will come after Acie Law. Some rumors said that Milos Vujanic is already practicing with Partizan mt:s and that he could be the one to help Black and Whites on position 1.

Today I heard that Partizan mt:s is interested in Andrew Wisniewski who played in many teams in Europe and has great European experience.

Personally, I would like to see some of young prospects to fulfill this position, but as a coach I don’t think that this would be smart in the middle of season. Especially in season, when Partizan mt:s will fight for two titles in domestic championship and national cup. ABA Adriatic league title will be the tough goal, I guess.

And, let’s finish this story about Acie Law, even I still can’t believe that one professional player breaks his contract on this way.
