ABA Adriatic league Game 11

aba adriatic league

After game 11 in ABA Adriatic league, there are no more undefeated teams.

KK Zagreb CO defeated Maccabi Electra and prepared the biggest surprise in this season of ABA Adriatic league.

Even I believed that Maccabi Electra could finish this season as undefeated, KK Zagreb CO proved that every team may be beaten if you have enough power and focus.

Krunoslav Simon with 26 points in this game, 7 rebounds and 4 assists earned MVP title for game 11 in ABA Adriatic league with value 35.

Partizan mt:s overplayed Union Olimpija in game where Union Olimpija was better team in first half or better say 16-17 minutes. Even they came with just 8 players due to pretty hard situation in Union Olimpija, financial problems of course. With already 5 players left club, they gave hard time to Partizan mt:s in first half. 93:69 (20:23, 20:18, 27:14, 26:14).

It was sad to watch Partizan mt:s in first half, unbelievable how much problems they had against 2-3 zone. They looked pretty confused on the court and especially Acie Law, who had no idea what he should do.

Luckily for Partizan mt:s, Union Olimpija players were tired since they had no much substitutions on the bench, so Partizan mt:s uses its chance and overplayed Slovenian team in second half.

Coach Vlade Jovanovic said after game that there are no excuses for bad performances in first half. I am just wondering will they learn something from this game, it is not first time that Partizan mt:s had problems with zone defense. Hopefully, they will correct some problems before Wednesday when they expect tough game in Madrid against Real Madrid in Turkish Airlines Euroleague.

Radnicki beat Zlatorog in home game 88:71 (26:11, 16:30, 27:10, 19:20) and continues good performance and wins. David Simon with 26 points and  Michael Scott with 25 led Radnicki to another one win. Coach Miroslav Nikolic may be satisfied because it seems that his team play better and better in last few games.

Crvena Zvezda prepared another one disappointment to fans. Even the most of fans didn’t expect that Crvena Zvezda may succeed in game against Cibona in Zagreb, they really had no chance in this game. Cibona won 87:73 (22:17, 30:16, 19:20, 16:20). Crvena Zvezda going down from game to game, and honestly, it is expected. For years they had no results and talking all the time about next season, about building team for coming years, it is getting nonsense. Days before Crvena Zvezda president stated that in 5 years Crvena Zvezda will play Euroleague. I would be glad, but honestly, if they continue like this in 5 years they won’t exist.

Buducnost confirmed their quality in game in Vrsac. They beat Hemofarm in great game. 78:77 (20:23, 18:22, 16:20, 23:13). Even without Nikola Vucevic who left team due to end of NBA lockout, Buducnost played well and deserves this win.

Cedevita dominated over Siroki, they won 74:60 (15:17, 19:15, 23:16, 17:12). They continue with great performance and it is obvious that Cedevita have serious intentions in this season. They are on the second place in ABA Adriatic league, with 9 wins and only 2 losses.

Krka beat Helios 84:64 (29:15, 22:22, 18:15, 15:12).
