As we coming closer to the end of regular season in ABA Adriatic league, things going more and more interesting.

Game 19 in ABA Adriatic league will be played in three days, four games today. Two games will be played tomorrow, Sunday, January 27, and one game at Monday, January 28.

After 18 played games, Igokea is superb leader with great 15-3 record, and according to many people already in Turkish Airlines Euroleague for the next season.

Let’s wait and see what will happen in next seven games in this regular season phase, and after that we can talk about Euroleague.

Zadar vs. Cedevita

Croatian derby which could bring us good and interesting Basketball game. At this moment, Zadar at position 10, with 7-11 record.

Cedevita in much better situation but still far from one of four position for Final four, hold position 6 with 10-8 score.

Both teams reached wins in last week. Zadar as host wins over Cibona and gave them hard time. Cedevita topped Union Olimpija.

Union Olimpija vs. Igokea

One of the games in this week which is expected to be one of the most interesting. Union Olimpija currently at position 8 with score 9-9 will try to surprise leader in ABA Adriatic league.

Igokea will have quite tough goal, but if they continue with their team game, they will succeed. Both teams got new players in meantime.

Union Olimpija signed Jasmin Perkovic after Dylan Page left club. Igokea signed Bojan Radetic who came from White Eagles in Sweden.

According to announcement from Igokea, he will not be ready for this game today.

Split vs. Szolnoki Olaj

Derby of teams from the bottom of standings in ABA Adriatic league. Split at position 11, with 7-11 record will try to win and escape from the bottom of standings.

Szolnoki Olaj at the last position in ABA Adriatic league, 14, with terrible 4-14 record, will try to reach another one win, but even with win they will remain at the last position.

Split had some good roles in this season, and it is expected that they will celebrate in this game, especially at front of their fans.

Buducnost VOLI vs. Krka

Buducnost VOLI is favorite in this game today. Team from Montenegro will use all positive energy from Eurocup competition where Buducnost VOLI is current leader in Group I in Last 16 Eurocup phase.

In ABA Adriatic league, Buducnost VOLI is currently at position 4, with 10-8 record and good chances for Final four.

Krka, at position 9, with 8-10 record will try, but I am not sure if they have enough quality to win in today’s game in Podgorica, Montenegro.

Siroki Wwin vs. Cibona

Another one derby of teams from the bottom os standings. Siroki Wwin hold position 13 with 6-12 record. With same record, Cibona is currently at position 12.

The biggest disappointment in this season in ABA Adriatic league, after numerous changes since beginning of the season, Cibona is still struggling.

In meantime, they signed new player, guard Jerel Blassingame. We will see if this will help them, or maybe problems are bigger and deeper.

Crvena Zvezda Telekom vs. MZT Skopje

This should be a quite interesting game. Crvena Zvezda Telekom in problems in last several games. Three consecutive losses, two in Eurocup Last 16 and 1 in ABA Adriatic league proved that they are in crisis.

Crvena Zvezda Telekom is currently at position 2 with 12-6 record. MZT Skopje hold position 7 with 10-8 record and still with chances for place in Final 4.

Crvena Zvezda Telekom signed Predrag Samardzijski who signed contract until the end of this season. He came from Lietuvos Rytas.

Radnicki vs. Partizan mt:s

Game of the week, Serbian derby and one of the classics, as Radnicki will host Partizan mt:s in Kragujevac. Always very motivated when they play against Partizan mt:s, players of Radnicki are ready for this clash.

At this moment Partizan mt:s at position 3 with 12-6 record. Radnicki at position 5 with 10-8 record. Both teams have goals to play in ABA Adriatic league Final 4.

Both teams won in last week, Partizan mt:s unexpectedly easy over Buducnost VOLI at home, and Radnicki topped Szolnoki Olaj on the road game.
