It is time for new excitements in Eurocup competition. Today, Eurocup Quarterfinals Game 2 will be played and we will find out who will qualify for 2012 Eurocup Final 4 in Khimki.

Tonight is decisive night and I am sure that we will enjoy in great games. At the end of the day we will know winners and 2012 Eurocup Final four competitors.

If you ask me, results in three games are quite expected and the only one surprise was that Buducnost Voli wins over Valencia Basket.

I must say that I am so glad about this win for Buducnost Voli, and just a little bit sad that today they not playing at home, since I am sure that they would win again. In this case, Valencia Basket is host and this difference of 4 points is not big.

Buducnost Voli wins 75:71 in Podgorica in wonderful game, and it would be great if we can see them in 2012 Eurocup Final four in Khimki. However, tough goal for team of coach Dejan Radonjic, but let’s wait end of the game, you never know.

CEZ Nymburk lost at home from Spartak SPB with 64:68 and I believe that Spartak SPB will beat them again, probably with even bigger difference.

BC Khimki topped Lokomotiv Kuban 81:72 and we will see if 9 points will be enough for BC Khimki to play Final four. As I already said in previous post, I believe that BC Khimki have additional stimulation since they are hosts for 2012 Eurocup Final four.

However, I am not sure that Lokomotiv Kuban will just give up that easy. We can expect good game and great fight of these teams.

Lietuvos Rytas wins over BC Donetsk 76:65, and this is the biggest points difference of all Quarterfinal Match-ups. Jonas Valanciunas had double-double score in Game 1 with 14 points and 10 rebounds, and I believe that he could be the main figure on this Game 2 as well.

Here is the schedule for today:

Spartak SPB vs. CEZ Nymburk 17:00 CET

Lokomotiv Kuban vs. BC Khimki 17:30 CET

BC Donetsk vs. Lietuvos Rytas 18:00 CET

Valencia Basket vs. Buducnost Voli 20:30 CET
