Here we are, after three weeks break in Eurocup competition, with one game today and three games tomorrow, Eurocup Quarterfinals Game 1 will start.

After regular season started with 32 teams, now we are in Quarterfinals phase where eight teams will fight for four spots in Eurocup Finals which will be played in Khimki, April 14. – 15.

Today in first match-up, we will have great opportunity to watch clash between CEZ Nymburk and Spartak SPB. Both teams played excellent in Regular season and Last 16 phase.

Spartak SPB finished Regular season with 6 wins and without losses, and CEZ Nymburk with 5 wins and only one loss.

In Last 16 phase, Spartak SPB had 5 wins and only 1 loss, since CEZ Nymburk had 3 wins and 3 losses. If we go in even deeper analyze we will see that Spartak SPB had an outstanding season so far.

I believe that in this match-up, Spartak SPB will win in both games and qualify to Eurocup Finals in Khimki. Of course, as I said many times so far, be careful if you use my predictions for betting 🙂

In other match-ups in Eurocup Quarterfinals Game 1, BC Khimki will host Lokomotiv Kuban. In Regular season, BC Khimki dominated group B with all 6 wins. In group E, Lokomotiv Kuban had score of 4 wins and 2 losses.

In Last 16 phase, BC Khimki had 5 wins and only 1 loss, and Lokomotiv Kuban 4 wins and 2 losses. Even BC Khimki had better score, 5 wins and 1 loss compared to Lokomotiv Kuban 4 wins and 2 losses, Lokomotiv Kuban will play second game at home, since they won Group L in Last 16 phase and Khimki qualified in Quarterfinals from position 2 in Group J.

This match-up could be the most interesting, since I believe that Lokomotiv Kuban had good chances, but on the other hand, BC Khimki will host Eurocup Finals and I am sure that they will be even more stimulated to book a ticket for Finals.

In next match-up tomorrow, Lietuvos Rytas will host BC Donetsk. In Regular season, Lietuvos Rytas had score of 6 wins, without loss. BC Donetsk, had score of 5 wins and only 1 loss.

In Last 16 phase, BC Donetsk won Group J woth 5 wins and 1 loss, and Lietuvos Rytas qualified as a second team from Group L with 4 wins and 2 losses.

Even I would like to see Lietuvos Rytas in Finals because of Serbian coach Aleksandar Dzikic and Serbian player Aleksandar Rasic, I am afraid that this mission will be impossible for Lithuanian team.

In last match-up tomorrow, my favorite team in Eurocup competition, Buducnost Voli will host Valencia Basket. In Regular season, Buducnost Voli had 3 wins and 3 losses, since Valencia Basket qualified in Last 16 phase with score of 4 wins and 2 losses.

In Last 16 phase, Buducnost Voli as a second team from Group K, qualified to Quarterfinals with 3 wins and 3 losses. Valencia Basket dominated Group I with 6 wins, without loss.

Even I am fan of Buducnost Voli in this competition mostly because of great coach Dejan Radonjic, I am afraid that honestly they have no much chance in this clash with Valencia Basket. I wish that I am wrong.
